NYPD Commissioner Shea was in Times Square today after three people were shot in Times Square, including a four-year old girl from Brooklyn who was in Manhattan shopping for a toy. (See story here)

Commissioner Shea spoke about repeat offenders and said the NYPD needs help.

Shea sounded frustrated because he has to deal with the problems caused by the adjustments in the law.
Yesterday, Malliotakis asked President Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland to step in and help NYC combat crime. (See here)
