Variants of the Covid Virus
There are three new variants of the Covid-19 virus that have been found in the United States.
1) We have been hearing about the UK Variant that spreads more quickly and easily than the original coronavirus. It is spreading in Florida fast – see here
2) A variant from South Africa (Info here)
3) A variant from Brazil was found in Minnesota this week. This is the variant scientists are worried about. (See here)
One of the doctors said that the United States may be creating a variant of the Covid virus that will scare other countries.
The vaccines that have been made may need to be varied for these new variants. Scientists are studying this now. (Info)
