The federal gov’t shuts down in 3 days.
House Republicans vote NO to providing $2K stimulus checks to needy Americans.
And Trump spent Christmas Eve playing golf.

NYS is able to help people, but they haven’t met to vote on any bills.
They could call a special session – but they haven’t. Then Andrew tweeted that his office is closed for a week for Christmas break!

Seriously?! They were closed for weeks for the pandemic.
Why wouldn’t the office be open with a few staffers so people in the neighborhood could receive help?
