And we have the first female Vice President of the United States.
While there aren’t any celebrations in the street in Bay Ridge, there appears to be a lot of people celebrating, jumping and dancing throughout Brooklyn.

And there should be celebrations in Bay Ridge. We’ve lived with 4 years of this President. If people are really worried about our being “divided” then it’s time to cheer on the new guy. Unless of course they prefer the division and the taking of sides. Time for people to disconnect from Facebook and start talking to people they don’t know. Come out of the silo.

I guess the Democrats here weren’t as happy as Democrats throughout the city because our area has socialists and they were for Bernie Sanders. I was all over 3rd Avenue today and although people were enjoying the weather, there was no one singing or dancing.
It’s a fresh start and if things don’t work out, in four years people can vote him out.
