RIP Sama Ali
Around 4:00 this afternoon, a beautiful seven-year-old girl named Sama Ali was killed by an armored truck in Bath Beach, Brooklyn.
Sama was riding her scooter when she was hit. “Sama was walking with her mother, a brother, and friends on their way from spending a day at a park around the corner.” (Info)
The driver was around 40-years-old and stayed at the scene. He was was not arrested. He said he did not see Sama. Story here, here and here

It’s a very sad and terrible situation. I’ve been walking with my kids at exactly that time. I hope that Sama will rest in peace, baby didn’t deserve it. Driver has to be charged, he didn’t yield at the turn, I don’t understand why this was not taken in consideration. It’s a law! You yield at the turn! He didn’t and he was speeding, there are many people who saw.
