Restaurant Owners Redesign Their Setups
Schnitzel Haus and other restaurants had to revise their outdoor seating. Their first setup looked great!
NYC needs to be on the side of these business owners so they can continue to stay in business!
NYC should have been clear from the start about what they wanted for these temporary cafes. Providing business owners with a plan that everyone could use to build these setups would have made them look consistent and be safe.
There really should be a rule that allows a restaurant owner to take the car space right before their restaurant to provide a bit more protection to the setup.
