NYC Property Tax Commission Recommendations

The Property Tax Commission formed by Corey Johnson and Mayor de Blasio returned their findings today. See the report here.
Here is the Property Tax Commission’s Ten Initial Recommendations:
Now they intend to do more hearings before they tell the senate the results of the commission. See here No more hearings are needed – they already did the hearings. So why are they doing more hearings? Because it’s a Democrat tag-team to stall this. If Andrew Gounardes isn’t part of this system problem, he should proceed immediately, instead of doing another season of stalling. (Last year Gounardes didn’t do anything to help home owners.)

Many people called me tonight about this and were surprised that I wasn’t happy. When you have been paying crazy taxes for awhile, you want to see a bill with significant changes….that’s when I will be happy.
