On Monday December 16 2019, Ramy is filming at Tanoreen at 7523 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge. They are filming an Egyptian wedding.
Ramy is a comedy show on Hulu. It’s about an Egyptian-American man practicing Islam in NJ. Reviews criticize the role of Muslim women in the show (see here)
Parking requests were made the filming company’s vehicles for 3rd Avenue between 72nd and 76th Streets.
Tanoreen is getting a lot of action this week. Last week, Mayor de Blasio had a hush-hush dinner with Councilman Brannan there.
