Sing for Hope Piano in Bay Ridge
Every June, the Sing for Hope organization puts painted pianos into communities in New York. I LOVE to play the Sing for Hope piano at Shore Road Park, as I learned t0 play on a similar style piano and it’s amazing to play outdoors.

The piano at 90th Street and Shore Road was designed by Jessica Browne-White. The theme is:”Love is in your hands.” Read more about the artist’s intentions here. This was designed for our community, as “Luna” was designed for Coney Island.

Last year, the piano in Sunset Park was destroyed intentionally when it was outside, so they didn’t get one this year. However, the one below will be in Industry City:

See all of the pianos here – I will stop and visit them in the area as they are beautiful and fun to play.
The pianos will be out until June 23rd and then they are donated to educational institutions.
Hugs,
marlene
