Josephine Cashman Remembered in Bay Ridge
The Bay Ridge BID wrote: Josephine Cashman loved Bay Ridge and would walk along 5th Avenue almost every day from the time she retired until her early 90’s. She would rest on the benches along the avenue from which she would greet long time friends and acquaintances. May this location serve as a reminder to the importance of community spirit and the difference one person can make when they sit down and take the time to smile and befriend all those who pass by.
