Gounardes/Frontus First Bill Together
NY1 was in the area and Ridgites were wondering what was going on. Assemblywoman Frontus and Senator Gounardes were announcing their bill to lower the toll for frequent users of the Verrazzano Bridge from the Brooklyn side.
Although this is not the first bill that either of them sponsored or co-sponsored, this is the first bill that each is the main sponsor in the Senate and Assembly.
Although this bill doesn’t help me as I don’t travel the bridge that many times in month, I am glad to see them working on bills together.
Some other interesting thing:
Diane Savino was on the Brooklyn side supporting the bill. (Yeah okay IDC chick).
Harvey Epstein co-sponsored in the Assembly. He’s always doing the right thing and I have noticed him more and more.
