Dear Councilman Brannan:
Thank you for keeping on top of these power outages in Dyker Heights. Please keep pressing Con Edison to either move towards placing their lines underground or at least for them to engage in more frequent inspections and better maintenance of their above ground power lines. Con Edison is quite good at making sure their bills reach us, but not as good in avoiding these power outages. No time of year is a good time for power outages, but we are especially vulnerable during snowy winter time.
