Corey Johnson’s $90,000 Becomes $600,000 of Taxpayers Money
Corey Johnson sat on Good Day New York on Fox Television with Rosanna Scotto. He spoke about how there was no money for the MTA so they are going to use congestion pricing and taxi’s and Uber cars are going to have a $2.50/$2.75 surcharge now.
In the next breath, Johnson spoke about how he raised $90,000 in a day for the mayoral election and how that is going to become $600,000. 600K of taxpayers money!!
NYC can’t pay for subway repairs and entitled pols think matching funds should be used for their elections.
It’s amazing how politicians think they need more than 600,000 to win an election.
Yet there’s no money to fix the train!!
And they aren’t willing to fix property taxes.
Hugs,
marlene
