Councilman Brannan’s New Law
Councilman Brannan has a new bill. The bill would allow pet stores to only sell pets which are from rescues or shelters. This will stop the demand for puppy mill dogs!
- 15,000 animals living in New York City shelters
- 4,000 animals are euthanized in NYC due to overcrowding
“The fact that anybody is buying an animal when you got thousands and thousands of animals that are basically free and up for adoption is crazy,” said Brannan.
