Gerry Kassar Engages with the Fake Office Account
It was very surprising to see the Chairman of the Brooklyn Conservative Party, Gerry Kassar engage in ridiculousness on social media. Yet, Kassar is also the Marty Golden’s Chief of Staff and wants to help keep his boss in office.
Several fake social media accounts were made to attack Senator Golden’s opponents and residents as well.
Kassar retweeted this from the fake account:
The SouthBrooklynRed Twitter account has already been tagged to Senator Golden’s staffer. (Also the account’s phone number was confirmed here and here) The fake account wrote a tweet to Golden’s opponent, Andrew Gounardes right after Gounardes made a strong showing at the Debate on Channel 1.
When it’s pointed out that Gerry Kassar is retweeting this nonsense, Jerry got defensive.
Kassar knows the account is a fake and is run by his co-worker, so why did he retweet that? You would think as Chief of Staff, Kassar would have advised the younger staff members to delete the nonsense accounts, as it makes Senator Golden look like a jerk.
But something has changed and Kassar must be scared about the November election.
