Nicole Malliotakis’ Messages to Bay Ridge in March
At the Community Board 10 Meeting, Nicole Malliotakis should just send her staffer to say: “I got nothing.”
This was what was said:
- Nicole is in Albany fighting for you.
- Nicole Malliotakis took part in the demonstration against the hotel across the street from PS 104 (Nicole doesn’t represent that side of the district, but she showed up for the photo opportunity). Malliotakis has the ability to write a bill to stop hotels from being used as shelters, but she hasn’t done that. Senator Golden admitted to knowing about this situation for four weeks, so by now the two of them should have done something.
- Nicole will have a CPR Seminar in June in Bay Ridge – no details were available about it
- Nicole wants to see people at the St. Patty’s Day Parade (yes, seriously that was her message)
Mike Long, Conservative Party head gave Nicole an award because she ran against deBlasio (Yes, seriously). Malliotakis tweeted about it! Men don’t get awards for losing elections and I don’t recall any woman who needed an award for losing an election.
Malliotakis went up against a well-disliked Mayor. If a Republican was going to win, it would have been this year. Malliotakis lost by a landslide because reporters exposed the truth about the press release queen.
Malliotakis made a resolution to celebrate herself in public office. On the same day, Malliotakis wrote negatively on Twitter about Cynthia Nixon starting her election run against Cuomo (and here). So she isn’t celebrating all women – just herself.
Hugs,
marlene
