Parents Need Help with Graduation Requirements for Their Child
Sometimes students in high schools in NYC haven’t been advised by their guidance counselor about the requirements for graduation. This causes fear and anxiety, especially if the student is learning disabled.
So when they fail a regents, parents become concerned because some exams are necessary for graduation.
Yet, if you child has a learn disability like dyslexia, ADHA or a language disorder, they may have different requiements for graduation. Sometimes students who are in a self-contained classroom are aware of these requirements for graduation. Some students can be given a Superintendent’s waiver for certain situations.
