Greek Festival in Bay Ridge September 2015
This weekend is the Greek festival at Holy Cross. I went on 9/18/15 and the food was terrible. They changed their food vendor and instead of the fresh potatoes with lemon and spices, it was frozen potato strings with spices – no lemon because they would be soggy. The cheese pie was flat and lifeless compared to last year’s most delicious tasting cheese pie ever. Lee had the meat plate and he didn’t love the frozen potatoes or the old salad – the meat was good. They ruined the greatest festival in Brooklyn. I attended it every year I lived here. :( By the way, everyone else must have known it was going to be bad because there was no line like every other year.
