    Lickity Split

We had an amazing weekend. When we saw our house the first time, I loved everything about it except the bathrooms and the doorknobs. The bathrooms had recently been redone before we purchased it, but the main bathroom had a pedestal sink and that’s just not my style. I know many people love to put [...]

Republicans for Change – Not So Much Bay Ridge

Hey how many of you were lucky to get the Republicans for Change Mailing? What’s that you didn’t get it yet?  I don’t think you are missing anything as it looks like the group running it is exactly the people who we need to change so we can have some progress in Bay Ridge. There [...]

    My Obsession with Mail

I don’t know if anyone else suffers from this obsession, but I have had it all my life. I love mail.   I don’t love e-mail. E-mail is another demand on life. It is – you know it. The only time I like e-mail is when Lee writes me a short message, my students write [...]

The Weekend that Stomped All Other Weekends

I love the weekend and since is is 12:30 AM on 5/6 the weekend is over. I Hate Driving in Queens….I hate Queens.

I woke up early this morning so I took a ride out to Nassau Country. I drove through Queens to get to 495. EVERY TIME I drive through Queens, there is an accident on the road and Queens drivers are the most inconsiderate people in the world.  When there is an accident on the road [...]

You Know You Have Good Friends When…….

The Tsarnaev brothers are probably some of the most hated people in the world for the recent Boston bombing. Their mother continues to give interviews claiming her son’s innocence. And my friends pray for the Tsarnaev family. Yep. I know so REALLY good people.  I prayed for the families that were harmed by the bomb as I [...]
