Senator Gounardes Was Asked About the Mobile Home on Shore Road, But Failed to Name the Law or Respond

Every few weeks, someone mentions the mobile home that is parked continuously on Shore Road.
Senator Andrew Gounardes was asked about the mobile home on X (formerly Twitter). Gounardes posts on that social media platform every day – several times a day. Yet days later, Andrew failed to answer the resident.
The law is that this type of vehicle can be parked on the street for 24 hours. Andrew Gounardes is an attorney, so he should have been able to answer the resident and take action.

Even 311 was not able to state the law and provide assistance.

This week, the mobile home owner hooked up a hose to the fire hydrant across the street.
There are no leaders in this area – just social media accounts, which won’t help residents with questions. And there is no way that the NYPD has not seen this mobile home by now.
Last February, Justin Brannan introduced legislation against mobile homes.

While Bay Ridge residents watch their parking spots taken by Citibikes on 68th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue this week, do they realize Senator Andrew Gounardes is making videos tagging Transportation Alternatives on social media? Lobbyists control our community.

Look at how dramatic Gounardes is in the video. When your politician is making videos for huge corporations, you know there is a problem.
This is not the first time Andrew Gounardes has pushed for a private company to take public parking spots in our community.

Remember GetAround Car Sharing Company? Andrew Gounardes pushed GetAround and the company wasn’t able to stay in business in NYC for even a year. See his video:
