![]()
@JustinBrannan someone tried to get into our home last night at 4am. Thankfully our door was locked but our neighbors weren’t so lucky. Their house was ransacked for 15 minutes as they slept. An iPhone was taken from the nightstand right next to a sleeping child. 68 here now.. pic.twitter.com/2Gmhn4Bfjr

A resident found this guy at his door in the 70’s between Colonial and Narrows.
The man looks pretty comfortable hanging out on their doorstep and property.
A few homes away, they weren’t so lucky. Someone entered the home at 4:00 am while they were sleeping and took an iPhone from the nightstand in a child’s bedroom.
The man was in their home for 14 minutes while they slept. It doesn’t look like it was a forced entry so please make sure to lock your doors! Thankfully the people in the home were not hurt!
The 68th Precinct are investigating – prints were taken.

August 23, 2020Don’t Leave Money in Your Car
If you leave money in your car and your car door open, there is a good chance it will be gone. This happened on 60th Street and 17th Avenue, but it’s been happening everywhere because robbers (and local teens too) are trying people’s car door handles.

August 23, 2020Neighborhood To Turn Blue for 9/11 and 9/12
![]()
To the person who made the sign above – thank you. Thank you for reminding people what’s important.
Putting a blue light outside of our home on September 11th and 12th is such an easy thing to do.
Almost 3000 people died on September 11th, including 340 firemen.
Back then everyone said “We Won’t Forget,” but 19 years later some have forgotten.
(I ordered a color changing lightbulb from Amazon for $10 – it can turn any color – this is the model number I got: B085G3T9Q3) When I get it, I’ll try it and take a pic to put here)

August 22, 2020Baci’s Food is Amazing
An old friend that moved away came back to visit yesterday. We ordered from Baci Restaurant the food was delicious and the delivery was fast.
Their pear salad was amazing!
The mussels were good, but they were still small. August is not a good month to eat mussels – there’s a saying that you should wait to eat shellfish in months that end with a R. My friend had never heard of that.
Here’s really why I am writing this…..Lee said the burger was one of the best burgers he has eaten! He’s pretty picky about his burgers so that’s a big statement. I know burger-lovers will love to hear this.
Baci is at 8424 – 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge. Their menu is here.
