People near 79th Street and 12th Avenue lost power last night for eight hours. No lights or heat on a cold day!

February 2, 2021Nic Pac Was Formed to Fight Against Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis
At the end of January, a politically diverse group of residents formed the Nic Pac. (I’m not part of it.)
Some residents did not like that Malliotakis questioned the election results on her first days in Congress.
They wrote: “Nicole can no longer hide in the shadows. She has punted her first chance to be a leader and side with truth. Instead stood with traitors and allowed for the assault on the capitol which led to several deaths, including a cop. She is complicit in the insurrection and unfit to serve.“
“Our goal is to hold her accountable, now til Election Day 2022. Watch our video, sign up to help, and donate. We are Republicans, Democrats, we are Liberals & Conservatives. Most importantly, we are NY11 residents who cannot be silent and allow our rep to betray our nation. Head over to NICPAC.Org to join our team. Together we can hold her accountable.”

The Children’s Chorus of Bay Ridge is offering a winter/spring VIRTUAL CHORUS semester via ZOOM beginning Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021.
If your child likes to sing/play/move/create, join us online Wednesday afternoons, 4:00-4:45PM.
No audition required; children in grades 1-8 are accepted. *A minimum of 8 choristers are needed to proceed with the semester.
