The owner of the vehicle fled.

A patient transferred from a Connecticut hospital to a hospital in New York has the Covid variant from South Africa. (Story)
The South African variant is more contagious. (See here)
They aren’t sure how if the vaccine is going to work on it.
Bay Ridge is at 11% Covid positive, which is lower than other areas around us, but not the lowest for Brooklyn. (See map here)

Brad Lander lives in Park Slope.
He’s been benefitting from the property tax loophole for years.
Brad Lander hasn’t been vocal about the property tax discrepancies and this shows he does not believe in equity!
Now Lander wants the position of NYC watchdog!

A non-profit called Bay Ridge Community Development Center (BRCDC) was set up at the 9818 Fort Hamilton Parkway (where St. John’s Episcopal Church used to be).
This organization gave out turkeys at Thanksgiving. (See here)
They have (or want to have) a youth program. NYC is giving out $100,000 and their program applied for $20K.
Youth between the age of 9 and 24 can vote. If you are between those ages you can vote here.
