Hatred is Hurting NYC and Other Cities in the US

On Wednesday, a 21-year-old man in Atlanta, killed eight people at three different spas. Six of the women were Asian. (Source)

Yuh-Line Niou, an Assemblywoman from Manhattan was on television last night. She spoke about the rise in hate towards Asians.
One thing that stayed with me was she said almost every Asian person in her area had something negative said to them in NYC.
How awful!
Many of these families came to America for a better life. We can’t allow people to be blamed for a virus.
In San Francisco, this Asian senior was hurt on the street.
Just came upon an attack on an elderly Asian woman on Market Street San Francisco. Effort I got more details pic.twitter.com/5o8r0eeHE2

She fought back, but was badly injured. (Story here) Here’s another attack in San Francisco.
At this place, someone wrote: “China you will pay.” How awful!
In July, an Asian Grandmother was lit on fire in Brooklyn. (Source)
In New York, we have to help and make things better for people – for our neighbors.
We can’t allow angry people to intimidate or hurt them – with words or violence.
We’ve know how dangerous scapegoating is.

March 17, 2021Boca Del Cielo is Opening on 3rd Avenue and 85th Street

The owners of Cocoa Grinder changed their business plan. They closed all of their Cocoa Grinder stores, except 8511 – 3rd, the flagship store. This will become Boca Del Cielo.

Counter Culture Coffee will be served at Boca Del Cielo.

Where does the name Boca del Cielo come from? The owners have a coffee farm in Mexico and Boca Del Cielo is a bay close to their farm. (View here)

I love watching Abdul Elenani recreate his business. Ayat Restaurant across the street is amazing.
