March on Gracie Mansion – August 15, 2021

On Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 3:30 pm, there will be a rally at Gracie Mansion over the upcoming vaccine mandate.

Video from the rally:

Starting August 16th, restaurants and some other businesses will need to check vaccination cards or scan apps for patrons. Many business owners are not interested in moderating which customers are vaccinated.

Some jobs are now requiring staff to be vaccinated. None of the vaccines have been approved by the FDA and some people are afraid to get them. NYC has to make information about the vaccines more accessible. We had a lot of information about the vaccine as my sister-in-law is a physician. (Did you know Dr. Fauci took the moderna vaccine?)

For more information about the rally – see here. You are welcome to go to the rally without signing up.

At 3:30 pm on Sunday, people are meeting at 181 East End Avenue (the corner of 88th and East End Avenue).

(I am vaccinated – my husband is high risk, as he is a cancer survivor.) But I can see how afraid people are of the vaccines. People need to be ready to get the vaccine. Mayor de Blasio required people to get the vaccine, but is also allowing people to get tested each week – which is reasonable. Some jobs are not doing that.

Teen Hit by Car on 86th Street & 5th Ave.

A Bravo ambulance was needed for a teenager who was hit by a vehicle on 86th Street and 5th Avenue. Hopefully, he is going to be alright.

The Bravo ambulance stayed on 86th Street for awhile.

What’s strange is what was said at the end of the video by the person recording the video. If you move the video to the 3/4 mark (under the .com in Citizen, you can hear it)

Carl Heastie: Women Came Forward to Put an End to “Sweeping It Under the Carpet”

Carl Heastie These Women Came Forward to Make the Change

All of those women came forward because they wanted to stop that treatment in Albany politics. If they don’t impeach Cuomo, he will be back – if not in NYS, then in NYC.

Everyone predicted that Carl Heastie wouldn’t impeach him and that’s what we are seeing.

Bay Ridge fire fighters are the best!

Today they quickly unlocked door of a SUV with a child locked inside. The car was outside of PS 187 on Ridge Blvd and 86th Street around 4:30 pm today. (See here)

See the video(move the level on the bottom of the video to 5:30) here

It’s so easy for this to happen when a Mom is busy and has more than one child.
