October 8, 2021People Love The Humidor in Bay Ridge
People love The Humidor in Bay Ridge. George’s picture above shows it’s not just the cigars, it’s the people too.
A few years ago, I went into The Humidor to purchase cigars for some people who like cigars. I don’t know anything about cigars, so I asked the manager for help. He was very helpful and picked out several different cigars.
The cigar lovers LOVED the cigars and they all asked me where I got them.
Whenever I walk by The Humidor on 3rd Avenue, there is always a group of people inside and some outside too. Everyone always seems happy to be there!
The Humidor is at 9212 – 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge.

October 7, 202165-Year-Old Brooklyn Woman Stopped Robbery
SCARY VIDEO: Man chases, punches and drags 65-year-old woman in Brooklyn street in violent attempted robbery in broad daylight
— PIX11 News (@PIX11News) October 6, 2021
Full story: https://t.co/jKnFjpHlgj pic.twitter.com/EXXCudRPhQ
The attacker jumped off his bike to attempt to rob this Brooklyn woman. The description from the news said that he dragged her and punched her. (Story here)
But like most Brooklyn women, she wouldn’t let go of that bag.
The bag had the money she earned from collecting cans. Even though I am cheering for her, this story is heartbreaking because she could have died over this.

October 7, 2021Another Guinea Pig Dumped at Owls Head Park

This is the second time in a month where we have seen a guinea pig was dumped at Owls Head Park in Bay Ridge. (See here)
This is cruel because the guinea pig is going to be eaten by a cat or raccoon. Someone would need to set up a trap and capture this guinea pig.
If you have a pet you don’t want, please give it to someone or bring it to a shelter.
