Dredging in Coney Island – Presser 11/10

Assemblywoman Mathylde Frontus has shined a light on the dredging in Coney Island.
Why haven’t other Coney Island elected leaders spoken out against this?

November 9, 2021Volunteer to Clean Up Shore Road with BREG 11/13

This group hasn’t done much in Bay Ridge yet. The group appears to be more of a political group, rather than an environmental action group.
Strangely, this group didn’t say anything about the East River Park demolition and 1000 trees being taken out! They even continued to support the politician who didn’t speak out against this.
If you were concerned about the environment an air quality in NYC, wouldn’t the removal of 1000 trees be a concern to the group? (More info)

November 9, 2021NY Post Trashed Assemblywoman Frontus Because Another Politician Wanted A Story To Be Done

It’s strange that reporters don’t share stories about all of the great things that Mathyde Frontus does.
Frontus doesn’t hound reporters with press releases because she isn’t into press release politics.
A few nights ago, the Assemblywoman went live on Facebook because another politician asked the NY Post to do a story on her.
Why did the pol ask The Post to go after Frontus?
Frontus has been speaking out about an issue in Coney Island. Where are the other elected politicians for this area? They should be helping Frontus with this air quality issue.
Watch this video:
What politician in Coney Island is not speaking out against this? That’s important here.
Assemblywoman Frontus said she isn’t going to be silenced! She has deep roots in the community and she will remain steadfast and fight for the community! Go Mathylde Frontus!
The Post took a few days, but here’s their Saturday story filler:

How ridiculous! Frontus shouldn’t need to explain that she works more than the required hours in her position. And she definitely wasn’t boasting about anything. While I don’t agree with her on everything, she isn’t playing with lobbyists and she doesn’t do press-release politics like other politicians. She is not supported by male politicians in our area.

November 8, 2021Ridgites Do The Marathon a Bit Differently

Photos: JR Sierp
Everyone loves to go to the NYC Marathon and cheer on the runners as they go through Bay Ridge. There is a great feeling in the air on the cool, crisp morning. On 4th Avenue and 77th Street, runners were greeted by Ridgites who had a treat for them….Heineken beer.

John Bennett had the mini keg on a broom stick so runners could see they could stop for a treat. JR held out the paper cups and let them know it was beer (just in case they were looking for water).

They gave out about 100 cups. AMAZING!! (Now you know where to stand next year)
