October 23, 2021Ben Verde’s Pizza List in the Brooklyn Paper
We saw Ben Verde’s pizza list in the Brooklyn Paper here

It’s a list of the “same old” pizza places making the best pizza in Brooklyn list for years. When you see the same old places and, you know newer pizzarias in Brooklyn are not being tried.
When Espresso Pizza doesn’t make the list, it means the person doesn’t know Brooklyn.
When Lombardo’s Pizza doesn’t make the list, it means the person isn’t getting around Brooklyn and is just going by the old favorites.
Ben Verde don’t report about pizza if you haven’t tried all of the pizza!

October 22, 2021Who Doesn’t Want People to See the Justin Brannan Defunded the Police Signs?
v

EEEKKK I am pretty sure I know who that is!
They got caught pulling down this yellow sign:

Last election Mark Szuszkiewicz removed Frontus’s sign from a store and shared it on Instagram. (See here)
Now we have people removing signs from the neighborhood. The yellow signs read: “Justin Brannnan Defunded the Police.”
In the prior election, we saw Frontus’ banner disappear in the election against Saperstein.
People aren’t fooled by signs being pulled down.
Brannan joined in a Twitter discussion which he could have changed the language of “defunding the police.” (See here)
I was shocked when I read that tweet, I blogged about it here. After NYC Council’s vote, Brannan could have apologized for the language, but he didn’t.
