Max Rose Came to Bay Ridge to Stand Outside the 95th Street Station and Take Photos

Each morning, the R Train has homeless men sleeping on it.

These are people’s family members who aren’t receiving the correct help or support. They don’t want to live there – they have to live there because they don’t have anywhere else to go.

Today, Max Rose came to Bay Ridge to take photos outside the station shaking hands with people.

Max Rose Facebook Page

Max Rose took photos to put on his Facebook page and make it look like he was interested in our community. We don’t need any more picture-taking pols in Bay Ridge. I was glad to see many people spoke out against Rose on his Facebook Page

Andrew Gounardes was campaigning at this station earlier in the week. Neither politician wants to go down and get on the train and work on the problem of homelessness. If this was your family member, you would want the politicians to help provide them with at least a room with a bed and some food.

Senator Gounardes Voted for Bail Reform and Refused to Make Changes Even When the Statistics Showed Problems in NYC

Mayor Eric Adams presented these statistics to the NYS Senate and Assembly today here.

At the beginning of this year, when Andrew Gounardes saw the 2021 rates had increased dramatically, he should have moved to change bail reform.

There are stories in the newspapers every week showing how bail reform is allowing criminals to be repeat offenders. Gounardes obviously doesn’t read them. This week, a man was given a second chance and he attacked a sanitation worker. (See here)

Instead, Gounardes just wants to tweet and not take action..

Eric Adams shouldn’t have to ask the Senate to make a change, when it’s obvious something is wrong in NYC.

We asked Gounardes to change the bail reform bill when a woman was sexually assaulted. (See here) Gounardes didn’t tell his friends in Albany about the women in Brooklyn, who have been hurt by bail reform.

Please someone in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights or Brooklyn, step up and run against Andrew Gounardes. The senate position isn’t for playing politics and for someone to accept PAC money when our community keeps asking for help. Gounardes failed this community and should not be running for re-election.

Chris’ Restaurant on 86th Street in Brooklyn

After ordering the Polish platter and some pierogies, I pulled out my phone because I didn’t expect for Chris’ Restaurant to look like this.

It’s cozy and I imagine it’s romantic at night as well.

The place was decorated nicely for Valentine’s Day.

Oh and the pierogies were very good….probably the best pierogies I ever had.

Lee is Polish and doesn’t like ,most Polish food, but he loved their pierogies. Those were the best pierogies I’ve ever had!

Chris’ Restaurant is at 1866 86th Street. It’s open every day, except Christmas and Easter.
