October 24, 2022Keith Powers Cut a Ribbon for Tree Guards – Brannan Told Bay Ridge to Buy $8.00 Ones From Home Depot
NYC Council Representative told people that he was having a ribbon cutting for the new tree guards he had put at Hunter College School on Park Avenue in Manhattan.
Carnegie Hill residents can get tree guards. Councilman Justin Brannan told Bay Ridge residents to buy the $8.00 pieces and put it around the tree.

October 24, 2022Shooting in Sunset Park – 42nd Street
On October 18 right before 3:00 pm on 42nd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues in Sunset Park, this guy fired a gun multiple times at two people. Play video below.

- Party Gym 1130 – Avenue Z in Brighton Beach. Fun, clean, great staff, non-stop games and music. Good value for $. Really great for 3 and 4 year olds because they can do everything there.
- Hootenanny– 271 Prospect Park West between Prospect Ave and 17th Street– Party for 12 kids $650
- PLAY KIDS 33 Nassau Avenue Greenpoint – great for very small children
- Puppetworks – Park Slope – age 3 and up. The kids love this place. (info here)
- Staten Island Children’s Museum – fun and nice party room, exhibits They take care of everything!

This home on 82nd Street in Dyker Heights is beautiful! These clowns are amazing, but also very spooky! (It’s between 12th and 13th Avenue)
Dyker never disappoints on decorations! The people take such pride in their homes and love their neighbors.
Lights, a smoke machine and some motion-activated characters make this an amazing Halloween home!

October 23, 2022Morning Robbery in Bay Ridge 68th & 4th Ave.
Two guys robbed a man riding a Citibike on 4th Avenue and 68th Street on Tuesday morning, October 18th.
The man being robbed was pushed onto the street and is calling out, “Call 911” repeatedly. It’s awful to hear in the video below.

The driver in the blue car had to realize this was a robbery. Another car pulled around the corner so that may have been what made the thieves flee.
The thieves ran away with his backpack.

October 23, 2022Man Pushed Off Brooklyn Subway Platform
On Friday, this New Yorker in a yellow hoodie, pushed David Martin off subway platform at the Wycoff and Myrtle Avenue station in Brooklyn. This is the 22nd subway shoving this year. (Story here and here)
His hat has a unique symbol on it:
David Martin did not know the man who pushed him. Martin is 32-years-old and a lifetime NY’er. He barely saw the man before he was attacked at the Bushwick station.

Martin fell down to the tracks and thankfully a train was not coming into the station. Martin has a broken collarbone and his face is swollen. The man in the yellow hoodie ran away.
