Elect People Who Want to Help Homeless People

Homeless people are riding the R train because they need somewhere to be – to rest and be safe.

We are being told that they are being offered services. Yes, it’s true there are people there, but no one is talking to the homeless people at 95th Street on the R train.

It’s like the city has given up on the people at the last stop.

But these are the people who need it the most.

In the Summer, Andrew Gounardes was running for re-election so he went into he subway and took a photo. A photo doesn’t help any of these people.

January 17, 2023Regina Pacis Decorated for Lunar New Year

Christmas is over and the trees are outside Regina Pacis on 65th Street and 12th Avenue waiting to be picked up and made into mulch.
The church decorated for Lunar New Year, which is really nice to see. It’s a sign that the pastor is in touch with the community.
A few weeks ago, someone asked on social media about secular symbols being present in the church. A few decorations for a cloudy January is appreciated!

January 17, 2023City League Coffee Roasters Opened in Bay Ridge

City League Coffee Roasters Opened on 4th Avenue and 68th Street in Bay Ridge. It opened where Blend Co-Working space used to be.
When I saw their sign today from afar, I was sad because Blend Co-Working Space was the coffee shop that delivered a lot of coffee to people at the hospital during the pandemic. #GoodPeople

On to City League Coffee Roasters…..their bear is very cute. Bring on the coffee mugs and t-shirts!
A friend of mine had their coffee over the weekend and said it was very good. We didn’t have time to stop today because we had to get some things done.
Here’s their website – it has so many different types of coffee!
Good luck to the new owners!

January 15, 2023Trucks Moved to Ft. Hamilton and 77th Street

Moving the trucks that are carrying cars to Fort Hamilton and 77th Street makes that area a mess too.
Keep posting these photos them Brooklyn!!
These companies have a sweet deal with a leader in our neighborhood – that’s why they move around and hide on a new street. There are no tickets on any of these illegally parked vehicles.
We need new leaders, who don’t think fooling the community is a joke or need a taskforce to sit around, eat lunch and talk about what everyone knows needs to be done -> tow the vehicles to the lot where everyone else’s illegally parked cars go.

Coszcal De Allende, an amazing Mexican Restaurant in Bay Ridge announced that they are closing.
They wrote on Facebook that they were closing because there were problems with their landlord:

We hope they would open at another place on the avenue, but that doesn’t seem to be their plans. Their food is incredible and Bay Ridge residents don’t want them to close. (See Here)
