Sanitation Hunter shared this video of a vendor having his items collected by DSNY. The resident wants the vendors to be ticketed because 8th Avenue is dirty.

The police are there six days a week ticketing and collecting vendors items. Why aren’t they in Bay Ridge even one day?

Coney Island is the forgotten area. The area was gerrymandered into a district with Bay Ridge to help Justin Brannan. But by now Kayla Santosuosso should have met with the residents and gotten the community help for the Boardwalk.
On July 30th at 1:30 pm, this Brooklyn community is having a protest.

July 25, 2026Philip Guarino Died Four Years Ago – Still No Answers From the 68th Precinct
Four years ago today, Philip Guarino’s body was brought on a handtruck to the back of a driveway at a house on 72nd Street in Dyker Heights. (Photos)

Guarino had been missing from Howard Beach, Queens. His car was found in another section of Queens. PIX News Video here
The homeowner found Guarino the next morning and called the police. Phil Guarino was only 28-years-old.
The Medical Examiner was not able to determine the cause of death. This was not a drug overdose. Phil’s hyoid bone was broken. (Source)
The 68th Precinct said they needed time and for Phil Guarino’s mother to be patient. (Source: Video) Four years later, the case still remains unsolved.
2026 Update: I thought the man who brought Phil’s body to Dyker Heights was being charged this year, but I don’t see any new information or court records on this.
The police never asked the public for help. They never showed any photos of the suspect either.
RIP Phil Guarino.

July 23, 202672nd Precinct Police Cracked Down on Illegal Illegal Vendors in Sunset Park. Why Doesn’t This Happen in Bay Ridge?
Hunter TV has been sharing pictures and videos of the 72nd Precinct Police ticketing illegal vending in Sunset Park.
The NYPD were on 63rd Street and 4th Avenue and on 8th Avenue (in the 50’s and 60’s) today as well.

Vendors who are ticketed can get their items back when they pay the fine.
How come this never happens in Bay Ridge?
I’m surprised the 86th Street BID hasn’t done anything about this mess.
Laws exist for a reason, but enforcement has to happen for the laws to matter.
Bay Ridge now looks like a 3rd world hellscape.
