Do Mark Treyger and Pam Harris Do Anything Without Taking Their Picture?
Councilman Mark Treyger has forgotten why he became a representative. He used to point out shady politicians. Today he posted the self-promoting picture below on Facebook. Is this what he thinks people want?
I am so tired of politicians taking pictures while they throw bread crumbs to the community. Melissa Mark Vivierto needs to train City Council members better.
The sanitation worker’s face below is saying, “C’mon guys we can afford our own $5.00 case of water, do you have to come here and take a picture?”
It’s sad that Pam Harris thinks this is what she was elected to do.
Harris’ appeared in the NY Post this weekend because the not-for-profit she used to head used her address on their 2016 taxes and some other items which are strange.

July 12, 2016NYPD Busy in Brooklyn
Yesterday, our police were pretty busy this week.
An armed robbery took place at 2771 – 78th Street – one of the robbers fled and pulled his gun at the police. As a result, he was killed by the police – see news story and here. The other suspect escaped.
The 68th precinct police caught 3 people breaking into a car on 73rd Street bet 8th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway. Several car burglaries are happening in the McKinley Park area.
The R train suicide — 77th Street – yesterday.
In other news, people young and old are playing Pokemon Go all over Bay Ridge, especially on Shore Road.

A man jumped off the platform and onto the tracks in front of a Manhattan-bound R Train this mornng. Story here
No other news was available about the man. RIP
The motorman, Michael Catalano was questioned by police. He fled the area after seeing the suicide. (Thank God he had this type of reaction and isn’t immune to seeing something like that). Catalano ran down the tracks (and so would I) and was upset. The police cuffed him but didn’t arrest him. They brought him to Lutheran Hospital. see pictures here
Some of the new articles state: A train operator fatally struck a man. NOOOOOOOOO the jumper threw their body at the train. RIP to the man who jumped, but have some respect for Mr. Catalano who has been working for the MTA since 1993. It’s weird that the story became more about Catalano, than the poor soul who jumped.
Prayers for Michael Catalano for having a difficult day and for showing normalcy in a city where people don’t blink when they hear someone died.
RIP tortured soul…..he had a wife and children.

NYC will be having the next sanitation worker exam in February. The Department of Sanitation hasn’t done any hiring in seven years so I am sure some people will be glad to hear this job is available again.

On Sunday, July 10th, Bohemian Rose Hair Studio will teach mother and daughter teams to braid hair from 5-7 pm.
The kids will learn to braid using a doll head. They will get to take it home afterwards.
