While Nicole Malliotakis pats herself on the back and continues to get paid for doing very little, in the back of her head she has to wonder how over 10,000 people would rather vote for NO ONE than her.
DO SOMETHING MALLIOTAKIS – ANYTHING…..Really anything.
Like Hillary Clinton, people have no faith in Nicole Malliotakis. When I heard from many friends that they didn’t vote for anyone for Assemblywoman, I knew the numbers had to be high.
Everyone has seen years of the nonsense press releases that Nicole loads our newspapers with.
Three hundred and seventy-nine people wrote in candidates. I hope we get to see a list of the write ins.

November 9, 2016Like Hillary, People Didn’t Want to Vote for Marty Golden
Over 25,000 people went to vote, but they didn’t want to vote for Marty Golden. If he was an effective leader, he should have won with over 85% of the vote.
Like Hillary Clinton, people didn’t want to vote for Golden – 22,000+ people chose to leave the line blank rather than vote for him. The non-votes and the write-ins are votes against him. People made their voice heard! Even though Marty doesn’t hear them, Golden’s wife isn’t blind to these results. Look at the number of write-ins – 985 people had creative write ins.
Although Marty Golden’s Senator activities have been quiet and mild these past two years, no one has forgotten that he initiated a huge bill to give tax break to Manhattan developers and he votes with the Upstate Senators. Golden isn’t doing much for Bay Ridge and the people have made their voice heard.

Everyone wants to be a district leader, but no one actually does the job of Democratic District Leader in Brooklyn South.
Today Marty Golden runs unopposed.
Sigh.
Bay Ridge has a enough Democrats and even a lot of Republicans who are tired of the Golden Era of Politics, but we have no candidate on the ballot. It’s time for the district leaders in Bay Ridge and related areas to step aside – you don’t have the needed clout to find a candidate or the energy to seek out a candidate.
How about reaching out to the community and asking if anyone would be interested in running? There are plenty of people looking for jobs and I am sure one wouldn’t mind going to Albany. Post the information on Facebook and I am sure the community will have a lot of ideas to share about who would like to represent this community.

November 5, 2016Bay Ridge Accident – 8 Year Old Boy Hit
Yesterday an 8 year old boy was hit by a car on 69th Street and 6th Avenue. That intersection is very busy.
The boy was badly injured and was under the car. He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. ** Prayers for the boy and his family **
Driver was not drunk and remained at the scene.
