On Saturday afternoon from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, there will be a DJ on Shore Road Pier.
Last June, we went with friends to Shore Road and ran into this DJ and the music was great – we didn’t want to leave (but had other plans so we had to).

June 2, 2025Parents and Community Members Spoke Out Against the EV Charging Station in Bay Ridge
Some good people in our community spoke out against the EV Charging station being planned for 92nd Street and 5th Street.
No one who has children would have approved this location. The business setting up there knew there was a school across the street, but they aren’t from Brooklyn, so it didn’t concern them.
This video is good because parents spoke out against the EV Charging station near a school, but the Channel News 12 called this PS 104 a high school – it’s an elementary school.

June 1, 2025Five Children Stole Three Bikes in Brooklyn
Some children from Bay Ridge rode down to Urban Air to have some fun. They locked their bikes up outside of Urban Air. A group of five kids came along with bolt cutters. (WOW) They stole three bikes.
One parent was able to go get the bike back bikes because she had an Airtag on it.

May 31, 2025Jordan’s Lobster Dock Food is at Tamaqua in Brooklyn From Wednesday to Sunday
Jordan’s Lobster Dock in Sheepshead Bay (behind the UA Movie Theater) closed in 2021.
Now they are back serving their food at Tamaqua Bar & Marina at 84 Ebony Court in Gerritsen Beach from Wednesday to Sunday.
You just pull in and park outside of Tamaqua Bar & Marina.

Their lobster bisque has not returned yet, but it is expected in a few weeks.

May 30, 2025Home Invasion on 21st Avenue in Brooklyn – Same House Hit Again
Around 8:30 am, there was a home invasion at a home on 21st Avenue in the 70’s.
Senator Steve Chan shared that the NYPD think this is a targeted home invasion because this is the second time this happened at this home.
