Michael Grimm is Coming to Bay Ridge 4/15
The Brooklyn Teen Republican Club invites you to a meeting with Republican congressional candidate Michael Grimm at The Salty Dog located at 7509 3rd Avenue on April 15th at 2PM. Really?
Wait….these are Senator Golden’s Teen Republican Group (remember they ran the debate between the Republicans at the Manor last Fall and they partied with Marty in December too)…..and this group is going with Grimm! Shouldn’t they be with Dan Donovan? Notice they are rebels holding a meeting at a bar, rather than a diner or even the Bay Ridge Manor where many Republicans hold events.
What’s more is this group held a protest against Assemblywoman Pam Harris.

April 14, 2018Verizon Store 13th Avenue Armed Robbery
Around 6:30 pm tonight (April 14th), a man went into the Verizon Store at 7502 – 13th Avenue, showed his gun and stole 20 iPhones and an iPhone watch.
The robber was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants with two white stripes on the side, gloves and sunglasses. He was appoximately 6 feet tall.
A driver was waiting in a Honda Accord getaway car.

April 14, 2018Bay Ridge Cat HaTeR Near Shore Road
A kind Bay Ridge neighbor put up a sign to worn the neighbors that there is a mean cat HATER in the hood. The guy (yes, it’s a mean old guy because let’s face if, if you are a young hot guy, you ain’t going after kitty cats).
I could understand if the cat HATER’s rose bushes were being destroyed, but hardly anything is blooming yet.
Hopefully an animal group will step in and off to TNR (Trap and Release) the cats because these are Bay Ridge cats and the everyone knows cats keep away mice. There’s so many animal lovers in the area so this one hater should be careful if he’s rounding up someone’s Sylvester.

Corey Johnson, 9 Council Members and 2 Council Staffers accepted a free trip to Israel. They have been gone since Thursday and the trip is very low key. Jeff Coltin and the Jewish Press are the only ones reporting it. Coltin stated that his information is from a press release.

Who controls the press? Why wouldn’t main NYC newspapers report this trip? Years ago, this was kind of scary to see…..now it’s just sad.

April 14, 2018Frank Seddio is a Bad Democratic Boss
In Bay Ridge, we have two fantastic candidates ready to go up against Senator Marty Golden. We LOVE them both. Why? Because they aren’t corrupt and they want to help this area. Both have plans – not the same plans, but both have very good plans.
In February, Democratic Boss Frank Seddio said he doesn’t want them to have a primary.
BTW, both candidates have been cordial to each other as they are ready to take on Senator Marty Golden.
This week, Seddio comes out in the paper and chooses one. NO, NO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Frank Seddio could have sat the men down and came up with a plan, but instead he tries to throw a wrench at one of the good guys. Truth be told – we need both of these men – they both are energetic and would fire up the Democratic Party. A better leader would have thrown the wrench at the corrupt Marty Golden and figured out a way to get both of these men for the neighborhood.
The Democrats need to get a new boss because this boss is just throwing out things to the media and weakening the Democratic Party. Bay Ridge sees the boss as someone who is supporting Golden because we have two great candidates here – most neighborhoods are lucky they have even one.

April 13, 2018Rosie O’Donnell Threw Her Money at a Man Who Just Moved Into Our Area to Run for Congress
Rosie O’Donnell made a $2700 donation towards a man who just moved into our area. O’Donnell didn’t bother to check the candidates from the area. I asked Omar Vaid why he was running in Bay Ridge and not Williamsburg. He wouldn’t respond.

If Rosie O’Donnell wanted to help communities, she would have looked into the Fight Back Group for Bay Ridge or Staten Island – most communities have them since Trump became President. The Bay Ridge Fight Back organization made this NY 11 Voter’s Guide. Omar Vaid chose not to participate in it, even though he was asked and it was free. If Rosie knew that, would she have given him the money?

If you live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, you probably love this community. Why? Because it is made up of the most awesome and caring people.
I don’t need my representatives to be known by people throughout the United States. I need my representatives being here and representing this community and our issues.
Money makes the world go round. While Omar Vaid wrote on twitter about having donations from across the United States, we want pols who have received their funding locally. So what if you have less. Make do!
Omar isn’t the only one accepting money from across the US on the Bluewave, but he is the only one bragging about it.
