July 18, 2018Ethan Lustig-Elgrably and Mark Treyger the Bad Democrat
![]()
“Lustig-Elgrably could not be reached by press time.” From Here
Of course Ethan isn’t available because he’s embarrassed. Ethan knows he is not as qualified as his opponent, Mathylde Frontus. No one is excited about Ethan – on either side of the district.
Ethan can’t win an election on merit. Mark Treyger is running around asking for endorsements and machine politicians are givine them.
Mark Treyger has been known as bad Democrat for many years.
Treyger is the Marty Golden of Democrats. Maybe that’s not how he started out, but that’s all he has been over the past few years.
See video on Ethan speaking here

July 18, 2018Nicole Malliotakis Took PAC Money
![]()
Financial disclosures came out and it showed Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis took money from Charter Communications PAC, even though 1,800 Local 3 members are out of work because of the #Spectrumstrike.
NYC is a union town. Doesn’t Staten Island have a lot of union workers?
It’s like a smack in the face to Spectrum families for Malliotakis to accept money from this PAC when they have refused to bargain fairly with workers.
Malliotakis has plenty of money in her account and did not need this PACs money. Even after running for mayor, Malliotakis doesn’t understand what is wrong with her doing this. #Typical
If Bay Ridge had good local papers, they would report this information. When Malliotakis ran for Mayor, she thought she would control the newspaper with constant press releases, but real reporters weren’t printing that nonsense and one even said that Nicole was clogging her e-mail inbox.

July 17, 2018Free Rain Barrel Giveaway – July 28th
![]()
Last time Councilman Brannan gave out rain barrels, people lined up around the block to get them. On July 28th, Brannan will be meeting residents at Caesar’s Bay Parking Lot to have a Rain Barrel Giveaway and collect E-Waste.
E-Waste stands for electronic devices you are no longer using – old televisions (yeah those big heavy ones), printers, computers, stereos, old phones, etc.

July 17, 2018400 Boxes of Pudding Delivered to Senator Golden
A street safety activist group, NYC SafeStreets delivered pudding to Senator Marty Golden’s office to remind him that he needs to follow through and reauthorize the speed safety camera program before it expires on July 25th. #TheProofIsInThePudding They have a lot more faith in Golden than we do.
Golden, Felder and Lanza wasted time introducing a weaker bill and the Senate did not vote on bill the the NY Assembly has already voted for increasing speed cameras.
![]()
Strangely in the video, you can see that there are several large signs on Senator Golden’s office walls that have the words ‘DO NOT LITTER.’ Most offices don’t have signs like that so something is weird there.
Also Senator Golden’s office looks unkempt.

July 17, 2018Dean Skelos and Son Still Guilty
Dean Skelos and his son Adam are still guilty.
Imagine if this time they had just plead guilty and owned up?
Yeah but that doesn’t happen with pols though.
The news reported how Dean Skelos threw his son under the bus:
“Dean Skelos made the comment on his second day of cross-examination amid questioning over a $20,000 check Adam cashed for title insurance work he never did.
Federal prosecutor Edward Diskant asked the former state Senate majority leader why he was “disappointed” in Adam for accepting the money without lifting a finger.
“The reason you were disappointed is because you thought it was improper?” Diskant asked.
“I thought it was improper by him … and the people who gave him the check,” Skelos answered.”

July 17, 2018Andrew Gounardes on Guns – Bay Ridge
“We can have reasonable regulations like requiring guns be stored, removed from dangerous people, and putting a limit on the size of magazines,” Andrew Gounardes said. “Look, cars kill people, too. But over the years, with regulations such as requiring seatbelts, we made it safer.”
We need politicians who will advocate for reasonable regulations, so that people are safe and gun aficionados are happy too.
See Andrew Gounardes’ position on guns here.
I am a fan of Gounardes, not only because of his dedication to this community, but also because he’s just a good person. Gounardes gave this Keynote Speech last Spring and it shows that he is an inspiring leader. (I don’t know Andrew Gounardes and he doesn’t know me)
7/17 Update: Even his tweets are sincere.
