Are ProLifers Being Tricked in Bay Ridge? Details Left Off Poster

Why is the rally outside the Fort Hamilton High School?
Because mean, divisive people are trying to ruin Andrew Gounardes’ inauguration (the time is the same).
Why is Marco Kepi holding this event in Brooklyn when he lives in Staten Island?
Kepi worked for Marty Golden. Golden was voted out and Gounardes was voted in.

I received some messages asking if I support the rally.
People have the right to rally, BUT in this situation, people aren’t being told that they will be rallying during the inauguration.

Religious people will show up, but they don’t know they are there to ruin someone’s celebration.

Strange:

NYC Republicans advertised the event, but they forgot to put the date on the flyer.

Good News About Nicole Malliotakis

Kadia Goba, jounalist from Bklyner, told us that Nicole Malliotakis opened a campaign committee Friday morning to oppose Rose in the 2020 congressional race. See article
You are probably thinking what I was thinking:
OH NO. Nicole Malliotakis do your job and stop running for office. Malliotakis ran against Mayor de Blasio and was beat 67% to 27% – see here
But then optimism set in…..Nicole Malliotakis won’t be able to run for Assembly if she is running for Congress.
Wooohoooooooooooo Bay Ridge gets rid of Nicole! What a glorious thought!

Alexis Levinson of Buzzfeed told us that former Congressman Michael Grimm chimed in:
I thought Grimm and Malliotakis were friends. I guess not!

When Ben Stiller and Our Senator are #Besties
While scrolling, I saw this:

And the first thing I thought was: That looks like Ben Stiller sitting at the table with Governor Cuomo and Kathy Hochul (the Lieutenant Governor)….WEIRD
BUT IT IS BEN STILLER.
Then I saw this tweet:

And I thought how cool!
During the election season, Ben Stiller understood that the Republican control of the Senate was holding back New York’s progress.

We loved that Stiller came to Bay Ridge and joined in supporting Senator Gounardes!

Senator Gounardes and Ben Stiller are besties…..or bros (whatever the male term for besties is now).

Powcon – The Brooklyn Comic Con is This Weekend!

On Saturday and Sunday, Powcon will take place at the Best Western Hotel Gregory in Bay Ridge.They are having a cosplay contest so there will be a lot of people in the area dressed up!

Tickets had been on sale since the Summer, but are now sold out online.

Kids under 12 are free. Tickets for adults are being sold at the door for a higher price.
We stopped by: Yes, it was awesome!!
