Mike Long is No Longer Leading the Conservative Party
I never got to see the side of Mike Long that others talk about.
I only saw Mike Long accepting money from the NRA at the Conservative Party headquarters in #BayRidge.
Then Long was silent when there was a placeholder candidate.
And Long supported Marty Golden.
I don’t know him as the nice guy other people refer to him as.
Now the Conservative Party is looking at Jerry Kassar taking over. Kassar was adamant that the Brooklyn Conservatives did not accept NRA money. If he becomes the head of the NYS Conservative Party, will he return the NRA’s money?

January 27, 2019Andrew Gounardes’ Words to Change NYC & More
Bay Ridge got a man who doesn’t think opening an office and putting up a sign is part of his job.
This isn’t someone who wants to work for the community – this is someone who wants to collect a salary and not do anything.

January 27, 2019How Gauche, Golden! Thoughtlessness or Vengeful?
Journalist, Kadia Goba captured Marty Golden standing on a bench today across the street from Fort Hamilton High School where Andrew Gounardes’ inauguration was taking place. Golden was talking to a very small group of people….so small that he didn’t need to stand on a bench. The protest was over the new law governing abortions in NYS.
The flyer about the Right to Life rally didn’t mention that it Andrew Gounardes’ inauguration ceremony for the community would take place at the same time. Most people who attended probably didn’t have a clue as to why their presence at a rally outside a man’s swearing in ceremony is wrong.
Marty Golden is the only person who knows and he was willing to take that from Andrew…without thinking anything was wrong with that. It’s a different time in the world where people are so disconnected and don’t have concern for other people.
Read the words that Kadia wrote over the picture above. Golden meant to say unborn children, not newborn.
There is nothing wrong with protesting for what you believe in, but not when someone is having a once in a lifetime moment. This would be the same as someone protesting Senator Golden when he was out to dinner with his wife – no one did that because there is respect and decency here.
Golden has plenty of time to call Gounardes’ office and speak to his senator or protest outside his temporary office. He didn’t need to do that TODAY.
Update: I asked those who attended if Andrew Gounardes’ ceremony was affected by Golden’s group and no one knew what I was talking about. I thought it was because Golden’s group was so small, but that isn’t why. Here’s why:
LOL. Sometimes God intercedes when people do the wrong thing!
People were just soooo happy that Senator Gounardes is representing this community!
The new Senator’s smile is so genuine!
Look behind him – everyone is really happy, especially Max Rose!
I was glad to see that priests from Brooklyn were not in attendance, but a clergy member from Staten Island thought it was appropriate to attend. See what I mean about ‘the disconnect’ in society? He wouldn’t have done that to a new representative in Staten Island, but it’s ok to do it here in Bay Ridge because he doesn’t know Gounardes.
Golden is no longer the senator, but he still holds social media accounts in the names Senator Marty Golden and Golden for State Senate that he is still sending out messages from. Even Dan Donovan deleted the accounts and moved on.

The street was filled with emergency response vehicles and police officers.
While people speculated that the accident was due to a speeding vehicle because of what they saw on the Citizen App, Councilman Brannan shared the truth and it’s so sad.
