This dog was found on 73rd Street and 3rd Avenue. The owner probably doesn’t realize the dog isn’t at home yet as there are usually messages all over social media when a dog is missing.
The dog was at the firehouse in Sunset and then will be taken to Sean Casey Rescue.

August 25, 2019There was Trouble on the B6 Bus on Friday
WANTED for AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT.
The woman above was on the B6 bus in Bensonhurst on Friday.
The NYPD Crimestoppers said she made inappropriate statements towards a 18-year-old Muslim woman. Channel 1 News said the Muslim woman was sitting behind her and the woman in the picture told her to go back to her country and spat at her.
As the woman got off the bus at Bay Ridge Parkway and Bay Parkway, she allegedly threw a soda at the Muslim woman.

August 24, 2019Videos with Kids Aren’t Shared Here
There was a kid in our area who was having a hard time today. The situation was taped because the police were involved. I don’t share videos like that because kids don’t need their mistakes being replayed in front of the community or peers.
The 68th Precinct Police were calm and professional throughout the video.
If you see a video involving a child, ask the person to remove it (sometimes it takes a lot of people telling someone to do the right thing). Sometimes the moderator will step in if they see a lot of people objecting to it.

On Tuesday, August 27th, Frankie Marra and His Band will perform at Shore Road Park at 79th Street & Shore Road at 7:00 PM.
They saved the best for last when they planned for the free Summer Concert Series – so c’mon down to Shore Road Park with your chair (79th Street and Shore Road). Update: Some of the concerts were rained out, so they will be made up in September.

August 24, 2019Narrows Botanical Garden Events 8/24
Grab a cup of coffee and take a walk down to Narrows Botanical Garden on Saturday, August 24th.
They are having a cleanup at 10:00 am and at 1:00 pm, one of the volunteers will talk about the turtles.
Kids love this because they can ask a lot of questions!
The Narrows Botanical Garden is on Shore Road between Bay Ridge Ave and 72nd Street. It’s free and it’s a nice place to go and talk with neighbors.
