March 22, 202513-Year-Old Boy Fell Off Train – Bay Ridge Ave.

On Monday, March 17th around 4:30 pm, a 13-year-old boy was seen riding on the top of the R train into the Bay Ridge Avenue. He lost his balance and fell onto the tracks.
The child was taken to Maimonides Hospital and luckily, he only has a minor head injury. Story:
We are lucky this boy is alive and we aren’t crying because we failed to stop the subway surfing!
You know the wrong people are representing you in government when not one politician mentioned the subway-surfing in Bay Ridge. No one is outraged that a child is able to get on top of a train and surf.
Senator Andrew Gounardes is occupied fighting Republicans from his many social media accounts and he doesn’t want to talk about public safety:

See here: https://x.com/agounardes/status/1903420673810194475
Story: https://www.nydailynews.com/2025/03/18/subway-surfer-13-lucky-escape-serious-injury-falling-brooklyn-train/
If the trainmaster can not tell that someone is riding on the top of the train, then we need to install a sensor so he can tell the train conductor and the train can be stopped.
And don’t worry all you crazy people who want to ask why the child’s mother doesn’t know where he is, the police charged the child with reckless endangerment. BTW, no mother knows where there 13-year-old child is all the time.
These teens were seriously hurt train surfing this week:
NYC is filled with wicked people – imagine what else they could do on top of the train! Why has this problem not been fixed by now?

March 22, 2025Protest Outside of Malliotakis’ Office on 3/21

On February 28th, there was a vote about Medicaid.
Governor Kathy Hochul spoke out against the House of Representatives budget resolution vote. Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis shared on social media that there is $50 billion dollars in Medicaid fraud. Nicole Malliotakis spoke to a newspaper about it:

Why did this group of Bay Ridge residents wait almost a month to hold a protest? It was a strange protest because they protested outside of a politician’s office when there is no one there.

Why spend all that time to make signs that Congresswoman Malliotakis will not see?

Photos: Clare M.
Why not call Nicole Malliotakis’ office and request a meeting? Then show up with a large group and speak with the Congresswoman.

In the past, great protesters upset Justin Brannan’s staff so much that the staffer creepily went outside and took pictures of the protesters. Another good protests had a former representative so frazzled he called the police, so he could safely walk out of the office.
They even went to the trouble/expense of making a cardboard Nicole Malliotakis:

If you are going to protest, you can’t protest an empty office and take a photo of yourselves standing outside. Your topic is valid and the Congresswoman should speak to the community about it because a lot of misinformation is circulating.
I didn’t see any flyers for this protest, so it must have been shared with a small group. The Bay Ridge Democrats didn’t share this protest on their Facebook or Twitter pages.
There is another protest today, Saturday, March 22nd. Malliotakis office is closed, so she will just see a photo on social media. Andrew Gounardes did not share the protest on his personal account and The Bay Ridge Democrats, headed by Kayla Santosuosso did not share the protest either.
But a Staten Island group shared this:

The District Leader, Chris McCreight, who shared the photo above lost an election in November. After he lost, he went to the Somos in Puerto Rico. The trip was paid for with an account in which he received matching funds (our tax dollars), so we are paying for election losers to party in Puerto Rico!

Ask Chris McCreight how we can stop that?
