February 10, 2020Man Who Stabbed Mom Arrested Today
Loudlabs shared that the 68th Precinct arrested the suspect that was wanted for stabbing, Yasmin Ibrahim, a mother in out community. Yasmin was with her two children on Wednesday, February 5th before 7:00 am on on 5th Avenue and 83rd Street.
“According to officials, 33-year-old Spiros Feretzonis of Bay Ridge was charged with assault, reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a weapon, criminal contempt, menacing, and harassment.” The Daily News wrote this his family gave him up. See here Thank goodness for honest people.

Our sources who saw his face confirm he is the same individual that was walked out of the 68 Precinct on February 10th for randomly stabbing a mother on 83rd & 5th on February 5th.”

February 9, 2020Little Girl Struck by a Jeep on 86th Street
Video journalist, Adam Balhetchet shared the video above and explained that a child in a stroller was hit by a Jeep on 86th Street and 5th Avenue around 4:30 pm today.
The little girl was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
She was crying as she was loaded into an ambulance with her mother and sibling.
At the end of January a child was hit a few blocks away. See here

On Tuesday, February 11th, God Friended Me will be filming 9733 – 4 Avenue in Bay Ridge. It’s the building where the Home Reporter used to be.
God Friended Me is a show in it’s second season on CBS. The Sunday night show features a guy who has been friended by God on social media.

February 8, 2020Christian Preachers and Muslim Teens
Two Christian preachers showed up in Bay Ridge on Saturday night and are challenged by Muslim teens.
This is such a Brooklyn thing to do.
While they are deep into the conversation, one preacher realized he needsed to get his bag which is on the side, so he didn’t get robbed.

All Sports for All People has a class for teens to learn to be lifeguards and prepare them for the lifeguard test.
Teens must be 15 years old or up (proof of age required)
The Lifeguard Training and Certification takes place at International HS at Prospect Heights at 883 Classon Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.
Five Day Lifeguard Training and Certification Class – February 29, March 7, March 14, March 21, and March 28 – $399
First Aid instruction and CPR/AED for the Lifeguard are included in the course.
Lifeguard Evaluations are free of charge.
