Bay Ridge Dems Out of Touch – Bye Bernie

The Bay Ridge Dems endorsed Bernie Sanders for Presidents. Today Bernie Sanders quietly stepped down because he knew he couldn’t win. (Source)  I don’t know a lot about the socialism that some people believe in, so I asked a Democrat in Brooklyn and he said there was no way it could work. He was certain Joe Biden would be the candidate.

The country isn’t going to go for Free ___ (school, medicare, whatever)  just because Bernie and some delutional people think they can tax people enough.  While everyone deserves free healthcare, people can’t be asking for free education and healthcare – some things have to be paid for.

Club members like Senator Andrew Gounardes and Justin Brannan weren’t able to get their political group to go with Biden. Suprisingly, even Chris McCreight tried pushing Bernie.   What does that say about these leaders?

What happened to their group? How did they get so out-of-touch with the world?

RIP Richie Urban – (Schnitzel Haus)

Tribute Video by Mike Beitchman

There is nothing worse than this.  Here

Fred and Amber Urban, owners of Schnitzel Haus lost their son, Ritchie today.  He was only 26 years old.  Read his life story here

Fred shared here that Ritchie had a severe seizure yesterday and then went into cardiac arrest.

Richard Urban

Ritchie owned Condemned Labs.

Last week, The Urban family was honored in the newspaper as ‘Heroes of the Day’ for feeding the elderly and homeless in Bay Ridge.  (See article)

Prayers for the Urban family and Ritchie’s girlfriend. Life is not fair. No parent should have to bury their child.

God, please make your presence known to Fred and Amber in their dark hours this week and in the upcoming year. Psalm 34:18

Because of the pandemic, funerals are limited to small groups which makes this even worse.

A fund was started to help with the funeral here

Why Everyone Loves Sean Casey

Sean  Casey runs the local animal rescue.  A man who had COVID-19 contacted Sean because he was in the hospital and wanted Sean to check on his cats. Sean went to the apartment and fed the cats – even though he knew the virus was still most likely in the apartment.

Sean visited the cats every few days to change their food and water. The cat’s owner is now home!  Thank God for people like Sean who step in to help – even when he knew he could have exposed himself to the virus.

Yup, everyone loves Sean Casey.

Go adopt a pet and you will meet Sean!
