Peanut is a chihuahua missing in Sunset Park, Brooklyn since November 8th. He was last seen on 8th Avenue and 56th Street. 917-270-0322 Almost 1.5 years old, around 7 lbs. Last seen on Monday, 11/8/2021 in Sunset Park Brooklyn wearing his red harness.

Bay Ridge Toyota had a contest that allowed the community to vote on which organization should win. Bay Ridge Toyota donated $1500 to the Brooklyn Book Bodega (in the Brooklyn Navy Yard), $750 to the Bay Ridge Community Development Center and $500 to the Bay Ridge BID on 5th Avenue. Wollman Rink in Central Park used to be operated by the Trump organization. A new company is opening the renovated rink on Sunday, November 14th. There is free skating at the rink on Sunday if you sign up today at 10:00 am here. The rink is open for ice skating from November to early April.

Afghanistan refugees are in shelters across the US. HIAS (the Hebrew Immigrant Aide Society) helped a family get an apartment and asked the community to donate furnishings for the apartment. Wow she sounds so good solo! I’ve heard her sing/play with other people. I think she used to play with a band called Full Disclosure. I’ve also heard her during Festivals with I think two other Catnip band members. I didn’t realize her voice was this good. (Brian shared the video on Facebook) .
