Fire on 94th Street and Shore Road in Bay Ridge

There was a fire in a 5th floor apartment of a building on 94th Street and Shore Road. One man was seriously injured and brought to the hospital. Prayers for our neighbor’s fast recovery. I haven’t found a story about it online yet. but I will link to it when I do.

Tawfiq Deli Grocery on the corner of 78th Street and 13th Avenue is closed. White flowers were placed at the store because Abdul, the owner of the store lost his 15-year-old son, Sater. NYPD Is Looking For This Man in Brooklyn

On Friday, April 17, 2026, around 11:00 pm, a 33-year-old female was walking on 20th Avenue and 82nd Street. The woman was approached by this male from behind, who grabbed her butt and breasts before running towards 20th Avenue and 85 Street. Have any info? Call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

Why Didn’t the 5th Avenue BID Discuss Removal of Garbage Bins at the March CB 10 Meeting?

The 5th Avenue BID removed the garbage cans from the street corners. Sixteen Citibins were placed on 5th Avenue from 67th Street to 85th Street (pictured above). Why?
