OMNY Is Charging Higher Rates, Even Through Fares Don’t Increase Until 8/20

If you are using OMNY, check that you aren’t being charged $2.90 for the fair (or $7.00 for the express bus). Rates don’t go up until August 20th, so you should still see $2.75 (or $6.75 for the express bus). I bet they figure no one will say anything because it’s just a small amount.

Autistic Man Found at 12:30 am In the Back Seat of a Car That Was Stolen Yesterday

An autistic man was in the back of a black seat of a Mercedes Benz, which was running outside of 782 Union Street in Park Slope around 7:30 pm last night. (News) Around 12:30 a.m. this morning the car was found two miles away and the man was alright – thankfully!!
