Brooklyn had a special election today to fill an empty seat. Sam Sutton won District 22 – Borough Park’s NYS Senate seat tonight. He is the first Sephardic Jew elected to the State Senate! Photo: Councilwoman Susan Zhuang Simcha Felder used to hold this seat before he went to the NYC Council.

Last night, a 8-year-old boy was pushed off his bike around 7:00 pm by two masked men. The men were in their early 20’s. How awful! There was no mention of this on Councilman Justin Brannan or Senator Andrew Gounardes’ social media pages – it’s like they don’t live here with us.
