Dixy Chicken at 7504 – 5th Avenue closed. I was surprised so many Ridgites said they will miss this chicken. The building was sold at the end of February for $1,830,000. Crane Use at 95th Street Library – Street Closure

Community Board 10 shared that from Tuesday 5/5/26 to Friday, 5/8/26, 95th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues will be closed from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Costruction work involving a crane will take place at the Brooklyn Public library at 9424 – 4th Avenue.

TD Five Boro Bike Tour in Our Area

Bake and Scoops opened at 6920 – 3rd Avenue. This used to be The New Sanchos and before that it was Anopoli’s. Bake and Scoops sells ice cream, chocolate, cassata, Arabic sweets and wedding cakes. Good luck to the new owners! It’s the perfect time of the year to open!
