Photo: Maria DG This afternoon, there was a large sewer fire on 5th Avenue between Senator Street and 68th Street in Bay Ridge. The FDNY were there to put it out. Residents, who lived nearby shared that their lights were flickering.

Parks Dept. Didn’t Clear Pedestrian Path Because No One Told Them To

More than two weeks after the snowstorm, the pedestrian path along Shore Road leading to the pier was not cleared. There is no leadership in Bay Ridge, so no one is telling the Parks Department to clear the paths. In November, vote for a representative who uses the parks!
