On Saturday, October 11th is the Annual Columbus Day Parade in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn! There is a 10:00 am mass at St. Athanasius Church on 61st Street and Bay Parkway. The Brooklyn Columbus Day Parade begins at 1:00 pm on 60th Street and 18th Avenue and ends at FIAO Il Centro at 8711 18th Avenue.

Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny shared that there was a shooting on Saturday afternoon at 3325 Neptune Avenue. A 23-year-old man was shot in both legs and was taken to the hospital.
